HOW TO ALWAYS BE THE TOP SELLER IN ANY INDUSTRY
Most people want to be the best.
Blame our desire for being number 1 partially on genetics, and mainly on our Western culture programming - either way we want to be the person on top.
What it takes to be a top seller is pretty universal no matter the industry. It all has to do with relationships.
Top sellers know that relationships are key to their success and longevity. They also know that these aren't average relationships.
5 ways to be a top seller.
1. Hear not just listen.
Be present and hear with your ears and your heart what your customer really needs and wants.
2. All about the other person fully.
Go beyond your product or service. Your potential customer had needs before they needed you and they will have needs after they work with you. Lessen their need by being their resource.
3. Understand it is a choice.
Everything in life is a choice. And who to purchase with is a choice. Give that choice the honor and respect it deserves.
4. Make it an experience.
We love life when it is filled with great experiences. Make people happy to meet with you. Experiences don't have to be fancy dinners or a “song and dance.” Positive experiences begin and end with your vibe.
5. Any time.
The idea of always being on call can seem stressful. You just want some “you” time. Relationships aren't always on a 9-5 time schedule. Be the one who is willing to answer the phone on the weekend, pitch in when it is an emergency, and trusted enough for people to reach out when they need support.
